Where I was; Where I am

Not a year and a half ago I was well on my way to having it all. Soon I look forward to having neurologist tell me what has been wrong with me since then. During this time of battling with my body and my soul and my spirit and my life, I have been inactive. Everything I thought was sooo important has suddenly become unimportant and now I live for the day to day activities like making it to the table for dinner and helping my son with his homework. This blog is no longer about a budding author weaving through the politics and minefields of publishing. This blog now is about a person struggling to survive one day after another.

Horrible Oversight!

In California and in Michigan I had a challenge when presenting The Candy Ritual, I was traveling without my Husband Priest. I find it to be so important to call in both male and female energy and prefer when a male person can do this.

In California, I simple volunteered a man from our audience. He was so fabulous. He acted as if we had worked together for years. Unfortunately, his name and information didn't make it home with me. Now he is an anonymous contributor to a good ritual made great by his efforts. A vital part that I must thank in this way. Thank you. If you read this, contact me. If you know this gentleman, please have him contact me.

In Michigan, Gordon Ireland agreed to perform the part and I was blessed again with that strong male current brought to ritual space by his presence and participation. Gordon has been a great supporter of my work and my efforts as a writer. To have his energy there was comforting and familiare. I really appreciated it very much. Thank you Gordon!

Shout Out to Jesus and Plastic!Brenda, Plastic!Christina

I wanted to thank Plastic!Brenda and Plastic!Christina for joining, Cathy, Kathy, Helen, Annette, Crystal and I at dinner on Saturday night. I was startled to hear about the trauma these women have survived and the men who have been in and out of their lives. Their stories brought me to tears and then elated me in the triumphs they have had (not to mention their erotic adventures).

Plastic!Brenda and Plastic!Christina both enjoyed ConVocation immensely. They are delightful conversationalists and I can't wait to travel to see them again. I hope they become fans of mine, like I am of them.

I also wanted to send a shout out to Jesus. I meet him on the dance floor and found him to have amazing skills as a dancer. It must be all those choir sessions with angels. He was a lot of fun and gave me permission to put him in my blog. Thanks Jesus! Your a Savior!
